Services Provided by Facilities Planning and Development

    • Planning and oversight of construction of new school facilities and modernization of existing facilities
    • Select school sites for consideration and negotiate property purchases
    • Administer agreements for new school construction, school modernization and small construction projects
    • Responsible for budgeting, monitoring and reporting expenditures to local and State agencies
    • Coordinate the preparation of the Facilities Master Plan and School Facilities Needs Analysis
    • Maintain and update street, attendance boundaries, maps and the “Find My School” website
    • Review Minor Capital Project requests
    • Review Space Allocation Committee requests from schools and departments for relocation of existing programs within existing facilities
