What is it? The Healthy School Program connects students and their families with Health Navigators. Health Navigators are certified Community Health Workers who meet with students and their families to help them access no-cost health care, mental health resources, wellness exams, and essentials like food, clothing, and housing. This program aims to remove barriers to student success by addressing health issues early, which helps improve attendance and focus.
