Dear JWMS Families,

It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal of James Workman Middle School. I am truly privileged to serve the students, families, and dedicated staff of the JWMS community, and I look forward to working together in support of our students' growth, learning, and success.

As we begin this journey together, I want to share the three core priorities that will guide my leadership at JWMS:

1.      School Safety – Creating a safe, supportive environment where every student feels secure and valued is my top priority. We will continue to foster a culture of respect,  accountability, and well-being so that all students can thrive.

2.      Student Success – Academic achievement and personal growth go hand in hand. I am committed to maintaining high expectations and providing strong support for every student, ensuring they are challenged, encouraged, and inspired every day.

3.      Building Bridges – Strong partnerships between families, the school, and the broader community are essential. I believe that when we work together—sharing ideas, resources, and mutual respect—our students benefit the most. I look forward to meeting you, listening to your perspectives, and strengthening the relationships that make JWMS such a special place.

Queridas familias de JWMS,

Es un honor y una gran emoción presentarme como el nuevo director de la Escuela Intermedia James Workman. Me siento verdaderamente privilegiado de servir a los estudiantes, familias y al dedicado personal de la comunidad de JWMS, y espero con entusiasmo trabajar juntos para apoyar el crecimiento, aprendizaje y éxito de nuestros estudiantes.

Al comenzar este nuevo camino, quiero compartir con ustedes las tres prioridades fundamentales que guiarán mi liderazgo en JWMS:

  1. Seguridad Escolar – Crear un ambiente seguro y de apoyo, donde cada estudiante se sienta protegido y valorado, es mi principal prioridad. Continuaremos fomentando una cultura de respeto, responsabilidad y bienestar para que todos los estudiantes puedan prosperar.

  2. Éxito Estudiantil – El logro académico y el crecimiento personal van de la mano. Estoy comprometido con mantener altas expectativas y brindar un fuerte apoyo a cada estudiante, asegurando que se sientan desafiados, motivados e inspirados todos los días.

  3. Construyendo Puentes – Las alianzas sólidas entre las familias, la escuela y la comunidad en general son esenciales. Creo firmemente que cuando trabajamos juntos—compartiendo ideas, recursos y respeto mutuo—nuestros estudiantes son los que más se benefician. Espero poder conocerlos, escuchar sus opiniones y fortalecer las relaciones que hacen de JWMS un lugar tan especial.
