NCMS Counseling Department Mission Statement
The mission of the Nellie N. Coffman Middle School’s counseling department is to support students as lifelong learners so they can achieve their full potential. This program will address the personal/social, academic, and career development of all students. In collaboration with the middle school staff, the counseling department will encourage and help develop the creative talents in all students. In partnership with parents, other educators, and the community, the counseling department will facilitate a program that enables students to increase their skills to think critically, make wise choices, and be productive members of society.
