DSL is now accepting nominations for the Executive Officer position of President, Treasurer and Secretary for the 2020-2021 PTG Executive Committee. We welcome all nominations and strive to create a balanced roster of applicants.
Our goal is to see that every parent has a voice on our PTG and is given the chance to become actively involved in enriching the educational opportunities of our school.

Applicant Preparation
All applicants should be aware of the following:
- Members are elected to the PTG Executive Board for two years. The Board consists of members who are in their first year of service and two/three in their second year. This is done to help ensure continuity from one school year to the next.
- The board positions are president, vice president, recording/ corresponding secretary, treasurer, recruitment and family events coordinator, and fundraising coordinator. The responsibilities of each position are described in the DSL PTG parent handbook.
- PTG Executive Board meetings are held monthly from August through May. Board meeting attendance is expected and necessary if the board is to fulfill its obligations to the school community.
- Members of the PTG Executive Board are expected to be working members. This will include positions on sub-committees as well as on fundraisers.
- All applicants are asked to respond to the questions regarding their interest and qualifications for Executive Board membership on the application.
