My name is Mark Baltagi, and I am the counselor at Rancho Mirage Elementary School. I have worked in education for 15 years, all within the neighboring Riverside Unified School Districts. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Fresno State University and my Master’s in Counseling from the University of Redlands. I am currently working on my Ph. D.  I love building lasting relationships, not just with staff and students, but building those relationships in the community. I work in a positive, outgoing manner where the main focus is the success of the students and staff. I am excited to support students in achieving their academic goals and improving their school experience in their social/emotional development. Since I am a lifelong learner, I will continue to get more familiar with the school and community to understand the needs and wants better, then make it possible to achieve those goals. Go Rams!
