    Dear Raymond Cree Community,

    I'm thrilled to be serving as your principal for another year. As many of you know, I've had the privilege of leading RCMS for the past eight and a half years, and I'm deeply committed to its continued success.

    To achieve that success, we believe in fostering a strong school community. This year's theme, "The Power of the Team", reflects our commitment to working together – students, staff, and families alike. By setting high expectations and embracing a "work hard works” approach, we can ensure a thriving learning environment for all students.

    We're making strong progress in fostering a positive learning environment. This includes a clear academic focus, along with robust support systems offered throughout the school day and beyond. Our core values prioritize student learning and well-being, guiding our whole-child approach that integrates social-emotional learning. This ensures all students are equipped with the resources and tools they need to thrive.

     

    We understand that middle school can be a time of both excitement and nervousness for students (and sometimes parents!). Thank you for entrusting your children to the Raymond Cree MS staff. We take seriously our responsibility to provide a safe, nurturing environment where students can experience a highly engaging education. We're honored to partner with you on this exciting and rewarding middle school journey!

     

    With great enthusiasm, I look forward to a year filled with learning and achievement. We're committed to fostering an open and collaborative environment. Your questions, concerns, and ideas are always welcome.

    Estimada comunidad Raymond Cree,

     

    Estoy encantado de ser su director un año más. Como muchos de ustedes saben, he tenido el privilegio de dirigir RCMS durante los últimos ocho años y medio y estoy profundamente comprometido con su éxito continuo.

     

    Para lograr ese éxito, creemos en fomentar una comunidad escolar sólida. El tema de este año, "El poder del equipo", refleja nuestro compromiso de trabajar juntos: estudiantes, personal y familias por igual. Al establecer altas expectativas y adoptar un enfoque de "trabajar duro, funciona", podemos garantizar un entorno de aprendizaje próspero para todos los estudiantes.

     

    Estamos logrando grandes avances en el fomento de un ambiente de aprendizaje positivo. Esto incluye un enfoque académico claro, junto con sólidos sistemas de apoyo ofrecidos durante la jornada escolar y más allá. Nuestros valores fundamentales priorizan el aprendizaje y el bienestar de los estudiantes, guiando nuestro enfoque integral que integra el aprendizaje socioemocional. Esto garantiza que todos los estudiantes estén equipados con los recursos y herramientas que necesitan para prosperar.

     

    Entendemos que la escuela secundaria puede ser una época de entusiasmo y nerviosismo para los estudiantes (¡y a veces para los padres!).
