Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year. My name is Mandy Gonzales and I am the new principal at Della Lindley. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work here and be part of such a wonderful community. I have worked in Palm Springs Unified School District for 22 years as a Kindergarten teacher, first grade teacher, third grade teacher and middle school teacher at Nellie Coffman Middle School. Most recently I have been the District Administrator for the English Learner Programs Department. My husband and I have 5 children that have all gone to school in PSUSD. I look forward to supporting the school staff, children and families for many years to come.
We are excited to have students back on campus and are looking forward to a year of wonderful memories, success and achievement for all of our students. We are committed to keeping each child as safe as possible while here. I encourage you to engage in your child’s education. These have been challenging times for many families. I know that our students will be happy to be back on campus, to see their friends, get back into the routine of school, have face-to-face instruction and learn. Thank you for all you do to support our school. My door is always open.

Bienvenidos al año escolar 2021-2022. Mi nombre es Mandy Gonzales y soy la nueva directora de Della Lindley. Estoy muy agradecido de tener la oportunidad de trabajar aquí y ser parte de una comunidad tan maravillosa. He trabajado en el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Palm Springs durante 22 años como maestra de jardín de niños, maestra de primer grado, maestra de tercer grado y maestra de escuela intermedia en la escuela secundaria Nellie Coffman. Recientemente he sido la Administradora del Distrito del Departamento de Programas para Estudiantes de Inglés. Mi esposo y yo tenemos 5 hijos que han ido a la escuela en PSUSD. Espero poder apoyar al personal de la escuela, los niños y las familias durante muchos años.
Estamos emocionados de tener estudiantes de regreso en el campus y esperamos un año de maravillosos recuerdos, éxitos y logros para todos nuestros estudiantes. Estamos comprometidos a mantener a cada niño lo más seguro posible mientras esté aquí. Le animo a participar en la educación de su hijo. Estos han sido tiempos difíciles para muchas familias. Sé que nuestros estudiantes estarán felices de estar de regreso en el campus, ver a sus amigos, volver a la rutina de la escuela, recibir instrucción cara a cara y aprender.
