Art Club
Learn about the basic principles of design through the DSMS Art Club. Not only will you learn foundational skills in art mediums such as watercolor and acrylic, but you will also learn how to draw and shade complex shapes. You do not need any prior skills to participate. You only need to bring a positive attitude and a willingness to make mistakes as you learn. Join quickly because there are only 12 spots available.

Choir
For anyone that wants to learn how to sing and share their voice. Help grow the music program by being a part of the Scorpion Singers. We will perform in one concert in the Fall and one in Spring.

We are a Christian-Religious Club who want to promote a positive school environment by meeting together and encouraging each other as well as all students at DSMS. We believe Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior and that the Bible is the true Word of God.

US Drone Soccer Cub
Drone Soccer members have the opportunity to participate in aerospace education and engineering exploration through drone competitions and student-led mentoring. Through time management, including fund-raising and community service, students learn teamwork strategies and leadership skills.

Intramural Sports
Intramural Sports provides students with an opportunity to play in a sports team and compete against other schools. Football and Volleyball will begin in August. Basketball begins in November. Soccer will begin in March.
Football practice is Monday and Thursdays after school.
Volleyball practice is Tuesday and Thursdays before school.

Junior Black Achievers are students who are given the opportunity to connect with their black peers, black parents, and black community members in order to develop a rich understanding of their culture and history as well as improve their college and career readiness.

PE Scorpion athletics Club
Promote school spirit and bring awareness to living a healthy lifestyle. Students will be able to experience leadership through events like the Anti- bully Jog-A-Thon, Red ribbon Color Run, Students Versus Teacher Turkey bowl and much more.
