Creating a Safe and Respectful Workplace
Palm Springs Unified School District is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and non-threatening work environment for all employees, students, and visitors. The safety and well-being of our employees are our top priorities, as we recognize that a secure and supportive atmosphere is essential for productivity and well-being.
To this end, we have implemented a comprehensive Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP). This plan is designed to identify, assess, and mitigate potential workplace violence hazards, ensuring that all acts or threats of violence are promptly addressed. By adhering to the guidelines established in Senate Bill No. 553, we strive to protect our community and workplace from the harmful impacts of workplace violence.
Our commitment to safety underscores our dedication to our employees, as we believe that every individual has the right to work in an environment free from intimidation, threats, and violence. Through the implementation and maintenance of the WVPP, we aim to provide a secure and humane atmosphere for everyone within our district.
