Google For Education
The privacy and security of the students is of up-most importance to ETIS. The vendors and services that our students use needs to constructed with this in mind.
There are various Google services that the Palm Springs Unified School District uses to enahnce the learning experiance. The following questions then arise:
- How does Google keep data secure?
- Are ads shown in the various G Suite products?
- Does Google sell school or student data to third parties?
- Is the data encrypted?
- Does G Suite comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)?
