Coach of the Year

Congratulations to Mr. Parker Harling of NCMS, recipient of the 2026 DVEA Middle School Coach of the Year award!

In just his second year leading the Cougars esports program, Mr. Harling has built a culture centered on teamwork, growth, accountability, and student leadership. Under his guidance, NNC has reached the DVEA Finals in every title for two consecutive years while continuing to grow one of the strongest middle school esports communities in the league.

Beyond competitive success, Mr. Harling prioritizes academics, sportsmanship, and student development. His organized, student-driven program has created an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and valued both in and out of competition.

Students describe him as motivating, supportive, and deeply invested in their success. With more than 40 students participating this year and 18 representing NNC at finals, his impact continues to grow across the school community.
