Office: 760-778-04002023 State Testing Information for PSHS - CAST / CAASPP/ ELPAC
- All 11th and 12th graders that did not test last year will be administered the California Science Test (CAST) test, which is an assessment based on the California Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) starting the week of Monday, April 17, 2023 in their regularly scheduled Science class.
- All 11th graders will be administered the state tests. The California Assessments of Students Performance and Progress (CAASPP) tests which are completed in 11th grade. The CAASPP test will be administered in their English and Math class during the week of May 15th - May 26th, 2023.
- The English Learner Performance Assessments for California (ELPAC) tests are taken by English Learner students in all grades to measure their understanding and use of academic English. In PSUSD, the ELPAC will be administered between February 1st and May 31st, with specific dates chosen by each school. You will be receiving more information regarding if your student will need to test for ELPAC.
Students will need to use their first name and their State Student ID Number (SSID) to login for state testing. In some cases, this information may also be needed for practice and interim testing. We will be sending out your child’s SSID information if your child is an 11th grader or 12th grader that needs to test.
