Advanced Placement (AP)

  • The Advanced Placement (AP) Program is a national program established by the College Board. Students have the opportunity to engage in university-level courses with the potential to earn college credit by passing the AP exam in the designated content area. Palm Springs High School offers a variety of AP courses to challenge and expose students to post-secondary education.

Advanced Placement (AP) classes are on a weighted grading scale from 0.0 to 5.0 due to course difficulty being at the college level.
Work ethic, consistency, and a positive attitude are crucial to success.
