Middle & High School Robotics

Welcome to the Club!

Two smiling boys in teal shirts stand behind a table with a detailed map and robotic creations in the foreground, while other children and adults are visible in the blurred background.

Middle and high school students design, build, and code robots while developing teamwork, presentation skills, and resilience through testing, problem-solving, and iteration.

Our program follows the FIRST® LEGO® League program, where students tackle real-world themed challenges by researching problems, designing innovative solutions, and programming robots to complete missions. Through this process, students connect STEM learning to real-world careers and community impact.

High school students also compete in PSUSD’s own Mech Madness, a fast-paced head-to-head robotics competition focused on strategy, engineering, and innovation.

Robotics taught me that failure is part of the process—you keep improving until your idea works.
