ParentVUE FAQ

Your child's school can provide you with an activation code to set up your account. Complete the request form HERE.
 

For security reasons, ParentVUE will disable your account if a password is entered incorrectly more than three times. 

If your account is locked, contact your child's school for assistance with re-enabling it.

Please follow these steps:  

1, Go to the ParentVUE/StudentVUE portal
2. Click on I am a parent
3. Under the username and password field, select Forgot your password
4. Enter the email address you used to activate your account
5. Click Send Email to receive an email with a link to reset your password  

Ensure that you are checking the same email tied to your ParentVue account and that you are signing in via Palm Spring Unified's ParentVue Portal. The email will come from noreply@psusd.us.  Make sure it has not been blocked or categorized as spam from your personal email provider.

If all of the above apply, please contact your child's school for assistance.

You can change your ParentVUE password using one of two methods:

A: You DO NOT remember your current password
use the "Forgot Password" link as outlined in the above password reset question.

B: You know your current password
1. Log into your ParentVUE account using your current username and password.
2. Navigate to the "My Account" tab or section within the portal.
3. Click on the "Change Password" or "Reset" link.
4. Enter our current password, then type your new password twice to confirm it.
5. Click the "Change Password" button to save the new password.

Yes, each parent with Ed-Rights is assigned an Activation Key and create their own account.

No.  All of your children should be listed under one account.  If you are not seeing all of your children, please contact that childn's school office for assistance. 

All of your children should be listed on your account. If any are missing, contact the student's school directly to ensure the correct email and contact information is on file for them.

 All children linked to a parent in Synergy should be listed on the ParentVue homepage.  

VIA THE WEB PORTAL
Log into your ParentVUE account via a web browser.

1. Once on the Home screen, look for the student's name and photo on the top left of the screen.
2. Click the dropdown arrow next to the student's name or photo.
3. A list of your other enrolled children will display. Select the name of the child whose information you wish to view.
4. The screen will refresh to display the selected student's information and navigation options. 

ON THE MOBILE APP
Open the ParentVUE mobile app and log in.

1. The app's home page typically displays all of your enrolled students.
2. Tap on the student's name or photo to access their information.
3. Alternatively, look for a "Change Student" or "Select Student" option, which may be accessible via the navigation or home screen, and select the desired child from the list. 

If you do not see all of your children listed, contact the missing children's schools directly to ensure the same email and contact information is on file for all of them.

Given the variety of classroom and instructional reasons, some teachers may update the gradebook more frequently than others. Also, due to the complexity of the assignment and the time it takes to ensure that the scoring is careful and thorough, some assignments may take longer to grade than others.

Please Note: Elementary Gradebooks are currently not available on ParentVUE.

Reasons may vary...

• The nature of an electronic gradebook is to reflect the student's grade based on assignments and scores currently entered in the teacher's gradebook. New assignments and scores are being added that will factor in with the current grade.
   
• Early in the grading period, there may be fewer graded assignments, and so occasional high or low grades will have a greater influence on the cumulative grade/score.
   
• Teachers may have weighted some assignments more than others – so certain assignments may count more heavily towards a cumulative grade.
   
• Updates are regularly being made to the teacher's grade book.
