Drones

PSUSD offers an elective course for middle school students: Art of Drones!

This exciting elective will introduce students to the fascinating world of drone technology and its artistic potential. Students will be in a year-long course that covers drone safety, drone flight, cinematography, FPV flight, and drone soccer.  Through hands-on learning and exploration, students will:

  • Discover the fundamentals of drone operation: Learn about drone safety, regulations, and responsible piloting practices.
  • Explore the creative possibilities of drone photography and videography: Capture stunning aerial images and videos, mastering techniques for composition and storytelling.
  • Develop problem-solving skills: Students will work collaboratively to plan and execute drone missions, overcoming challenges and achieving their artistic vision.
