The Classified employees of the Palm Springs Unified School District are a vital and integral part of the educational program of this District. The services they deliver have a significant effect on the quality of the education and experiences provided to our students.
The Classified Human Resources Department works to establish practices and procedures serving and affecting classified employees within the district, in the areas of recruitment, selection, retention, training, evaluation, professional development, classification, and compensation. Currently, there are approximately 1120 regular classified employees and 300 temporary employees working for the District.
Palm Springs Unified School District offers a wide variety of job opportunities in non-teaching, support staff positions. Job opportunities may exist in the following fields: Clerical, Custodial, Educational Technology, Fiscal, Grounds, Health Services, Instructional Support (Early Childhood to High School), Maintenance & Operations, Nutrition Services, Student Services, Transportation, Technical Support and Warehousing.
