The PSUSD Human Resources Department is focused on connecting talented individuals with rewarding careers and providing essential support for all current employees. We manage all aspects of personnel, from aggressive recruitment and contract negotiation to ensuring legal compliance and maintaining confidential employee records.
Our department is organized to provide specific expertise for two main groups:
Certificated Employees
We manage the recruitment, hiring, credentialing, and support for teachers, administrators, and other professional staff, including managing the evaluation process and securing daily substitute coverage.
Classified Employees
We oversee the recruitment, training, and development for our vast team of support staff in every district department—from transportation and maintenance to instructional support and clerical roles.
