Services Provided by Facilities Planning and Development

Planning and oversight of construction of new school facilities and modernization of existing facilities
Select school sites for consideration and negotiate property purchases
Administer agreements for new school construction, school modernization and small construction projects
Responsible for budgeting, monitoring and reporting expenditures to local and State agencies
Coordinate the preparation of the Facilities Master Plan and School Facilities Needs Analysis
Maintain and update street, attendance boundaries, maps and the “Find My School” website
Review Minor Capital Project requests
Review Space Allocation Committee requests from schools and departments for relocation of existing programs within existing facilities
