This four year CTE pathway provides scholars with the educational background and practical experience necessary for entry-level positions in television broadcasting, film, and video production. The pathway consists of Media Literacy (the introduction course), TV/Video Production I (the concentration course), TV/Video Production II (the concentration course) and Journalism; includes the use and purpose of equipment found in the professional field. Instruction and practical experience will cover single and multiple camera production; film and video production; imaging; lighting; editing; sound; scripting. The instruction and skill development will provide scholars with a solid foundation for continued post-secondary training​. ​
