Superintendent of Schools

The Superintendent of Schools serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Palm Springs Unified School District, responsible for the daily operation and administration of the entire district. Working directly with and reporting to the Board of Education, the Superintendent ensures the successful implementation of the district's vision, mission, and policies. This office also directly oversees critical, district-wide functions, including Security & Disaster Preparedness and all Communications & Community Outreach.

Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services

This office oversees all academic strategy and instructional programs across the district, from Early Childhood through Secondary education. The division is responsible for curriculum development, assessment, and ensuring equity in learning opportunities. It also directly manages comprehensive Student Support Services (including Special Education, Mental Health, and Health Services), Educational Technology, Title IX compliance, and serves as the district's liaison with the PSUSD Foundation.

Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources

This vital division manages the district's most valuable asset—its staff. It covers all aspects of human capital, including recruitment, retention, and leadership development for both certified (teachers and administrators) and classified (support) employees. Human Resources is also responsible for labor relations, administering all employee benefits, and overseeing the district's comprehensive Risk Management programs.

Assistant Superintendent of Business Services

This office manages the entire financial and physical infrastructure of the school district. The division is responsible for Fiscal Services (budgeting and accounting), Facilities Planning and Development, the Maintenance & Operations of all sites, Student Nutrition Services, Purchasing, and Transportation, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for learning.
