    Positive Action Parenting 

    Learn how to take care of your own emotional, mental, and physical needs. Recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all interconnected. Learn new skills for good life balance, while interacting in a positive way with other parents.  

    English  Classes:  Tuesdays starting October 6th-November 17th 2020

    Spanish Classes: Thursday October 8th-November 19th 2020 from 5:30-7:00pm.

    Courage to Speak 

    Learn about different illicit substances such as drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and vaping. Learn about the side effects of illicit drugs and the consequences of use to your child's mental and emotional health, and physical development. Find out ways to talk to your child about ilicit substances and teach your child strategies to stand up to peer pressures around drugs and alcohol. 

    English Classes: October 6,13,20, and 27 4:00pm-5:30pm

    Spanish Classes: November 6, 13, and 20 9:00am-11:00am

    Parent Support Groups

    Please contact the Mental Health Department to find out about ongoing Parent Support Classes being offered. Parent support classes are offered by school level and age of your student. Parent support groups include 0-5 year old group, Elementary, Middle and High School. Classes are led by a mental health clinician. Support is from a group of parents.
