Students will receive 4 hours of supplemental support per week. This service is provided to students before school or afterschool.
After the initial iReady assessment, each student with the help of the tutor, will develop a personalized learning plan where they set academic and social emotional goals. The tutoring sessions will include support in the areas of English Language Arts and Mathematics.
Various data points are utilized to determine eligibility. Students who meet the criteria will receive an invitation for tutoring services. Additionally, students who are identified through the Student Study team process may also participate in alternate supports.
Who Qualifies for SES Tutoring?
- Student must receive Free and Reduced Lunch
- Students who received a 1 or 2 on the Smarter Balanced Assessment in ELA and/or Math
- Students who have been referred for an SST may qualify
