Program Description

Desert Hot Springs Alternative Center is a small alternative site meant to serve the needs of the youth in grades 9-12 in Desert Hot Springs. The center provides the following programs:

• Online independent study for students in grades 9-12.
• Continuation (credit recovery) for students in grades 11 -12 who have become credit deficient.

The focus of the Desert Hot Springs Alternative Center is leadership and community service. The continuation students choose which leadership team to join in order to contribute to the school community and the community of Desert Hot Springs.
