Our Role:
The Facilities Planning and Development Department administers the planning, funding, design and construction of new schools and the modernization of existing facilities for student housing within the District.

Services We Provide:
- Conduct school facilities needs analysis
- Select school sites for consideration
- Negotiate property purchases for school sites
- Coordinate new school designs
- Insure that all state and federal agency requirements are met for school construction
- Oversee new school construction projects and modernization
- Administer all agreements for architectural, legal, technical consultants and construction contracts
- Maintain and update street and attendance boundary maps
- Prepare legal information for school developer fees in regards to residential and commercial/industrial construction within the District
- Review Minor Capital Projects (MCP) requests and forward to Cabinet for determination
