The PSHS Jazz Band, known locally as the "Palm Springs Swings", will be the guests of the Wang’s in the Desert on Sunday, March 3 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The PSHS Jazz Band has performed throughout California and the world and have recorded four compact discs; was the featured group in a movie with Chris Botti; have performed with Barry Manilow, Max Weinberg, Carol Channing, and Mara Getz; have opened for legendary Big Bands including the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Stan Kenton Alumni Band, Harry James Orchestra,; have performed twice at the NAMM: and have been the invited guests of Disneyland performing as part of the community Showcase at the Main Street Plaza and as part of grand re-opening of California Adventure.

The PSHS Jazz Band is for serious musicians by audition only, and perform at approximately forty events per year. More information about the PSHS music program can be found on the PSHS Band Website at www.psband.org.
