For the third year, the Palm Springs High School Spirit of the Sands Mini Marching Band will perform at the Salute to Heroes Main Stadium Ceremony on Friday, March 8 following the first evening session match at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens.?

The City of Indian Wells will host a special ceremony recognizing veterans, military personnel, police and firemen following the first evening session match. The evening concludes with a performance by the Palm Springs High School Spirit of the Sands “Mini-Marching Band”. Members of this group were also part of the larger “Spirit of the Sands Marching Band and Visual Corps” that were selected from more than 2,800 groups to perform at the 57th Inaugural Parade in Washington D.C.
