Our Role:

Business Services supervises Facilities Planning and Development, Fiscal Services, Food Services, Maintenance and OperationsPurchasing, and Transportation.

Services We Provide

The Business Services Department coordinates the services provided by District Business Services, Facilities Planning and Development, Fiscal Services and Transportation Services. Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, the department provides support to the School District with the following services:

Facilities / Planning: Provides facilities planning, and construction management services for the District.

Fiscal Services:  Provides all budget, accounting and financial advisory services for the School District.  Fiscal Services also provides payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing and reporting.

Food Services: Responsible for planning/preparation of all meals provided to students, faculty, and District employees. Special function catering services is also available.

Maintenance / Operations:  Provides District-wide facility, grounds and equipment maintenance  to ensure a safe learning environment.  Provides for planned replacement of various building components, operates the On-line work order system (TMA). 

Purchasing / Warehouse / Reprographics: Tracks, purchases all goods and services including district inventory. Provides incoming/outgoing mailing services. Reprographics provides all printing and copying needs of the District administrators and teaching professionals.

Transportation Services:  Provides daily services for approximately 5,000 students.  In addition to regular home to school transportation, the department provides services for special education, after school education and sports programs, educational field trips and other specially funded programs.
